Re: Crx's with ls motor

Its just still kinda hard to believe. Cuz with a b16 you should hit 14.7 at best! B16 would kill the LS at top end no matter how good you are in driving the ls motor. I seriously doubt you can hit low 14s with just a stock ls motor. Well anyways let me see your timeslips punk lol

Re: Crx's with ls motor

civicHB91Si ran great times with his LS motor, and I still can't wrap my head around how he got a 2.1 60' with street tires, but its been done.

Shallow stage? 91mph doesn't seem to me like it would be that fast.. Have you ever matched that time of 14.7?

Either way, its a damn good time.. I wish I could get my 60s down to 2.1. My best time with the B16 with just an exhaust has been 14.9@94mph with a 2.2 60', I've hit it numerous times but I can't get my 60s below 2.2...

Re: Crx's with ls motor

I have suspension mod's nuespeed sway bar, strut tower bar, custom front crossmember with custom radius rods. neuspeed race springs. I believe they helped some, The car is off the road for the winter and im gonna do alot of thing's to it. make the suspension alittle tighter fix the motor mount and I will run it all motor next spring to see if I can get the time's down with just bolt on's.

Yes I have backed 14.7 up many a time. I have even ran as high as 93mph but those run's were 14.8 14.9's with 2.2 and 2.3 60'

I also have had 60+ run's of practice this year my beggining time's for the season were 15.2-15.4's and steadily came down till I reached 14.7's and until it got modded alittle more.

Re: Crx's with ls motor

hbSi - Did the traction bars/cross member help quite a bit? I want a 2.1 60' so I can hit a 14.7.
I'm hoping by next summer I'll be running a 1.8 block.. I guess it depends how things pan out, but thats the plan anyway. I need high 13s with mostly bolt ons.

60 times at the track? Damn, that would be nice.. I think I had about 30 runs this summer and it was so fun but near the end of the summer I got sick of my Kumhos and didn't have $15 to spare to go run for the night.

Re: Crx's with ls motor

Im pretty sure it helped, It was on the car already when I bought it but there was a big change in handling/front end being tighter than my old stock suspension hatch.

Off topic, but relating to the lesbian thing:

Q: How can you pick the straight girl in a gay bar?

A: She's the one who looks like a woman.

Real lesbians are 99% butt fucking ugly.
