dude im sorry, but i know your gonna feel stupid after reading this

2000pounds = 1 ton
NOT 1000LBS = 1 ton
so your 2500ish pound car is actually 1.25 tons, your a moron...

thats why everyone shit there pants when you said your car was 3 tons, cause thats a 6000lbs car. if you dont believe me then you can go look it up in your 3rd grade science book, cause i dont understand how you could be old enough to drive and like cars enough to tune one and still not know metric measurements. so now everyone knows your a dumbshit....

no cause he can be talking about a metric ton which is a 1000 pounds, but there is way unless the body is paper thin and almost nothing inside the car for it to weigh that much

Also, just on another note, I thought the interceptor actually was a vette? or is that some other super rare cop car that they only have a few of down in the states?

My apologies for the continental-towncar mix up, i was frustrated that people weren't paying attention to what i'd said. And yes, thankyou for the clearing up of the tonne thing..i was refering to metric tonnes, and yeah that's all the car weighs.

The interceptors ARe corvettes, but those are only a select few. 95% of the interceptors are the Mercury Grande Marquis that have big fuel injected engines and nitro. The other 5% are the Corvettes, but they only have those (in Canada anyway) on the long long straight stretches of highway, like the provincial stretch in Ontario. I forget the name of the road.

If someone knows more about the Corvette interceptors in Canada feel free to post the info, i don't know as much about therm as i'd like.

According to my Encyclopedia of American Cars which has over 65 years of american cars that is put out by consumer reports, the 1982 Parisienne, know as the Bonneville over here, came in 2 different sedans forms and a wagon. The weight of the two sedans are 3203 and 3213 pounds. No where near the 2500 you said earlier and not the 6000 that it would be if it was not a metric ton. As for the lincoln not being as heavy, my 89 Lincoln Cartier has a curb of 4059 so i was off by 20 punds earlier, and even both trims of the Continental from that year weighed more than the Parisienne at 3633 pounds and 3635 pounds. Also as for cop cars being high speed chasers, the average ones are not like I said before, there are a few built up sports cars like camaros and mustangs running around that push around 500 hp, but there are not many.

180 in a Parisienne :hehehe: one of my friends had one of these monster mobiles it would take tons of mods to make it do 150 let alone 180 plus the amount you would have to fork over for it wouldn't even make it worth while. You already got reamed a new asshole by a couple of people so there is no need for me to It did sound like a good story though, but the fakeness leaked through pretty fast. hell my uncles got a '67 Camaro with a 502 stuffed in it and i don't think it can even do 180 that takes a lot of hp to over come all that drag well thats my 2 cents

Dukes of Hazzard:hehehe: yeah it did sound that way huh

what the hell is a "high performance wire"? did they give u like 80 hp?

"nitro"??? a "shot of 75 nitro"??? been playing too much playstation? its "nitrous". try "a 75 shot of nitrous" next time and at least youll have the terminology right. and why put a measly 75 shot on something like a big block, especially one built to the extent u say?
also u said "i bought it...rebuilt it...i added" but later u say a shop did all the work.

Not to be dismissed, i hit the nitro at 7500 rpm, and threw it into 4th at 9500, WELL into the red line!!
wait a minute, youre downshifting? but u said u had a 4 speed AUTOMATIC. also why would u downshift when u were accelerating? then u say he downshifted too, whats the deal?
theres the "nitro" word again
9500 rpm? and where did all of your rods go when u did this, cuz im sure they didnt stay with the car.
u say u went "WELL into the red line". a motor built to the extent youre suggesting is not a toy, u cant just rev it up well past the redline, as such a high performance motor would have small tolerances for error. ESPECIALLY while u are spraying your "nitro"! a redline is not just a suggestion, it is there for a reason!

theres the "nitro" word again. and a "tank" of "nitro" doesnt cost $80, unless u got an absurdly large "tank". (p.s. its generally referred to as a "bottle" not "tank" and like i said before "nitrous" not "nitro") the only place ive EVER seen the word "nitro" used is on video games. and a 10 pound bottle usually cost about $30 to fill. a long way from $80.
and all this crap (the HUGE bottle of nitrous, fully rebuilt "450" that revs to nearly 10,000 rpm, and the EXTREMELY beefed suspension/drivetrain u would need to run all this) would cost a VERY large amount of money, people who have that much to just take it to a shop and have it all done at once dont usually put their stuff in a f*ckin 82 pontiac...

okay ill tell ya what i think, and its the same thing everyone else thinks. utter and complete bullshit. u obviously know nothing about cars at all. youre also the one who, in the "wrx vs prelude" thread said hondas are perfect for lots of "nitro" and hondas have no high end power, only low range. more evidence that u know absolutely shit about cars.

otherwise... have a nice day! :hehe: :hehehe:

oh shit! man you should just admit that you were lying and get some respect for being honest, because no one is going to respect your posts after that story!

"im sorry but i have to bash you some how" if your car was really suped up like you say it was, then why are you telling us that "my car has high performance everything" instead of telling us the mods, because that just make us think that you dont know whats in your car!

seriously you need to conceed and tell us that you were bs'ing the whole time, or you need to never come back here unless you want to be called a dumbass again!

there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to list the mods done to your engine. each part has it's maufacturer's name stamped or machined onto it.

for example: Dart intake manifolds have "DART" cast into them, Demon carbs have "DEMON" engraved on them..... etc... your failure to be able to do this by this point proves everything you have said up to this point to be utter bullshit.
