You should still seal them. The cheapo ebay altezzas will trap moisture in them. Even some good ones do.

I know.. but the seal from the factory on the altezzas blow ass. Wait until it rains, you will have water in the altezzas. Take some caulk or silicone and put it on the seam of the altezzas. Believe me on this one or you can find out the hard way

Re: Tail light mods II: new pics.

Do NOT use silicone. Yes, it is by far the best thing you can use for sealing but you will NEVER be able to get it off once it's on. Seriously, no matter what you do it will not come off, ever. Scrape it, pour acid on it, blow torch it, its not leaving. I personaly dont know exatly what to use yet but I would agree that you should seal any tail lights just to make sure. Lights fogging isn't just for the cheap ones either btw. New $50,000 car's lights sometimes fog, its just really hard to completely seal the lights. A tiny microscopic crack can allow moisture inside. For sealing the lights though, I would use some kind of good sealing glue that would become soft when heated to a certain temp.

Btw, Nice lookin tail lights Shpyder.

Hmm.. Never thought of that. Good point. Well in that case I would say use caulking.
