Yuh... I'm hoping to get some ASAP... before the rain and snow comes around... I was hoping on getting rims and tires... but probably not until after the new year... So' I'm kinda looking for a cheap alternative for tires... but no USED TIRED shops have my size...
But, yaeh, freaky-deek... you gotta get an OPTIMA!

First off, glad to hear your car is working again! But Im curious, is your alarm just an alarm or is it keyless entry, &/or remote start? And is it aftermarket? I know some alarms/keyless car freak out when the battery dies, if it has factory keyless I would find that remote and lock then unlock it. That should reset the factory system so it doesnt mess with the aftermarket....

No it's actually an aftermarket ALPINE alarm/keyless entry (well I gotta use the key now!). It has worked fine up until two months ago... I have pushed every button on this damn key-pad... nothing works! I even changed the battery in it! Plus I cannot find anybody that has an ALPINE alarm... unless I can fix it... I'll probably just replace it!

Before when it was acting normal.. it would 'beep' and lock when armed and 'beep-beep' and unlock the doors when I disarmed it. Now it's acting stupid... when I arm it goes 'beep' and locks... then 10 seconds later 'beep-beep-beep'! When I disarm it goes 'beep-beep' like normal but does not unlock! I have to use my key to unlock... when I unlock the drivers side it also unlocks the passenger. I can't figure this one out!

with a key entry system on a 300zx, both the passenger and driver door unlocks when you unlock one of the doors. so when you say you unlock your door with the key and the passenger door unlocks too, then that is most likely the stock system kicking in.
