radar detector doesn't necessarily help.... i got a bel rx65 while i couldn't drive, it took the same cop 3 minutes to pull me up again (but he let me off cause it was stupid, 65 in a 50 but i just sped up to change lanes, he could see i was driving slowly till then) the radar detector picked it up but i just got popped, only a second or less to change speed, not gonna happen, best you can hope for then is that he pops someone up ahead first and you pick it up!

I was doing 118 down I-485 (charlotte,nc) my radar went straight to level 6, with level 7 being the highest, I let off the gas eased the brake til I was about 73 then cruised right by the cop and he did nothing. also I have found out that on 485 at night if your above 130 they usually will not chase you (90% of the time). I have yet to get a speeding ticket, knock on wood.

i hear you man, i was doing 124 on I-15 and all of the sudden i noticed a cop behind me a few cars back. I didnt hit the brakes, so i decided to engine brake slowly and slow down to 70 and then he passed me and just looked at me. There was no cars, so im guessing that is why he didnt stop me, got lucky!

aha man i went 125 past a cop just chilln on the highwya, he radarded me n everything ...but he didtn even move....probably figured he wouldnt catch me

yeah it was 2 mortocylcle cops chilln next to eachother and didnt even moove...thers no way they woulda caught me, cuz i woulda just accelerated and took the next exit
