Re: what cars can i beat?

Simple question, heres the simple answer...

If a car runs anything slower than mid 15's, the SL can beat it...

Re: what cars can i beat?

People say an SL will run mid 15's but is that a manual? and if it is... what would an auto. run?

I would guess it would be a couple tenths slower. Still close enough that a better drive can make up the difference.

Re: what cars can i beat?

As far as wondering what kind of cars can an sl beat, you should first wonder how your gonna keep that front end stuck to the pavement. The 3000GT is notorious for losing traction. You'll never have a good race till you can use all of your power.

I have awsome sport tires and I alwas loose traction, stealthmod... seriously? Do you have the SOHC? When I launch even a little bit the front end jumps about 3 inches and then I loose traction and do some skidding if I'm not carefull, then its the same story into second but with a little less power on tap so just some long chirping.

Re: what cars can i beat?

I have a DOHC with cold air intake an exhaust, and yes mine will jump up a few inches.. never one squeel from them but they have squeeled once when i took a sharp left turn an hit the gas kinda hard cuz a car was comin....but i have 19" rims with Falken Azenis sport tires.. but trust me, my car isnt for crap in the rain.. i was comin home the other day in the pooring rain..driving up a hill and was goin about 45 and i ran into just 1/4 inch of water, and my car lifted up and i went over into the other lane about a foot or so

Re: what cars can i beat?

Nice ..guys at the tire place i got mine from were tellin me to get 18's for mine.. but i though they would be a lil small, considering the wheel wells on these cars are rather large, plus they would stick out better but.. i have to watch out for pot holes...hit one of those tires like that and bend the rim , and there goes 500 bucks

Re: what cars can i beat?

yea 19's are a bit large for a sports car, I like a good set of sturdy 18's with low profile tires those bbs rims are awsome, I also like BMW stocks.

Re: what cars can i beat?

I just like big rims mine are low profile.. by low i mean there only 1 1/2 of tire but i dont like stock rims honestly.. cuz its like every1 has them, an i like somethin different, and in a way custom... but i was mad the other day when i saw a fixed up RSX with my exact rims on it
