You know what's funny - I just realized we've been robbed.

The thread that used to have the information in regards to the location of Cliff's warehouse has disappeared. I tried searching for it three different ways and came up with nothing. Luckily, it wasn't to difficult for me to find the information in another location, but someone must have requested a moderator of this site remove the thread.

= = = = = =

Anyway... There's more pictures available of his F1 from the show in this album on pages 11 & 12 including a shot of that little plaque on the rear that reads: "Special Order Car By: (Unrecognizable signature)".

http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/Con...ano2004?page=1

There are ~150 photos in this album with a total of ~750 coming. Only a handful are of the F1 so far, but that's better than the one we got from the first 1000.

Moving on - I cross-checked the sun visor photo already and the signature on the badge does not match the one that is claimed to be Mario Andretti's on the visor - its not even close. I also checked some of the photos of this car from Japan to make sure that badge was there back then (I thought it was) and I was proven right. I also see why I used to think it was red:

The badge is chrome, so when an off-axis photo is taken of the car, often the car's paint color reflects up onto the badge making it appear red in color. And we learn something new every day...

P.S.: Thank god they ditched that ridiculous wing!

More photos from the show can be found in this AMAZING thread on S2Ki.com:

There are a couple of the McLaren, but I don't recall the page number as that thread full of photos has literally blown my mind.

Re: First shot of #028 from Concorso Italiano...

Damn it, why the hell didn't I go to Concorso Italiano. A 2 1/2 hour drive and $100 (a little steep I think) and I could have seen all my favorite cars in one place. I'm really kicking myself in the ass after seeing all these pictures.

You may need to have an account there to see the photos - similar to FerrariChat and a few other forums. Signing up for one is worth it though.

I'd save them all and rehost on Imagestation or something, but I only have a dialup connection at home right now.

BTW: You guys think you are bummed? I could have gone to the Concorso, AND stayed up there with this really cute girl too... ...but I didn't find that out until she was already up there. Her father was displaying something at the Quail Lodge and they go up every year.

Maybe it's because I've been away from this forum for a month, but I can't stop saying "Wow" every time I see a picture of this car. I may speak for others when I say this is the best car ever made. It just looks brilliant. The design is just beautiful; not too flashy, but at the same time beautiful. It never gets old. Every time I come across a new picture I can't help but be amazed. I won't even start on the amazing performance. This car is just perfectly well rounded from every aspect; design, performance, etc. Yeah, I am obsessed with the McLaren F1.
