i got pulled once for hiper signals, and i was told that any aftermarket change is illegal. if you buy a car that naturally emits a blue light then its legal. and about blue being for cops only, what about s2000's? their lights are very blue compared to others.

hmm...other people on other forums have said that they got pulled over because they're output was blue. well, i guess it depends on where you live. as for the s2000's, i didn't know they were blue, since i've never driven one...

well shit, i havent driven one either. im as broke as they come. but ive seen them drive by and they have very nice and very blueish lights. i think it depends on when you get pulled. if some cop has to meet his quota for the month, he'll pull you over for bs. when i got pulled for a light bulb, he even called for backup. damn these cops dont have shit to do. and the cop even said the light was white. but his backup said, "oh but the bulb is blue"

now if any cops are reading this... im just kidding
im sure theyre not all like that.

blue xenon bulbs

I have ALWAYS used the xenons from J C Whitney. They are VERY blue to look at, but get the highest wattage. They look GREAT!! My dims are 100W, the brights 80W, about $10 each. In H4 for my 3G Preludes, I use 130W/90W. REALLY nice.

well i dont know the actual written rules on stuff like this, but if you do get pulled for having hid's, if theyre anything but white they could probably ticket you for it. sucks but its not like you can argue with them.

I think if you got HID, you probably have a car that looks as good as a Lexus............I can't imagine being pulled over! SAME with the window tint................I'm 56½.

Lightbulb

:finger:

Check this out, if you've got Altezza's and you kept that "compliance card" that they came with you may be able to get away w/your HID conversion. I got pulled over cause I've got the HID headlamps and clear corners, and I opened my glovebox, and pulled out the "compliance card" for my Altezza's (not what I got pulled over for) and showed it to him. He was like "D'uh OK" then he jsut wrote me a ticket for no proof of insurance. HEHE I was thinking "hehe, fuck you, dumbass"
