That's wierd...my Civic was a 1987 model as well...you will probably see it cruising around Dunno's....numberplate TC4060..

I'll find out monday or tuesday what the shipping is worth. It shouldn't be too much as it's only Au to NZ. Then again, they aren't light either

Well for you ppl that cant be bothered looking it up, heres the fine

since you exceeded the limit by 28 kmh its 35 demerit points and and a $170 fine, naughty boy:finger:

Well, you got the demerit points right. But the fine wasn't $170 (this is NZ dollars here for you lot who are wondering), it was $230. If I'd been exceeding the speed limit by 30km/h not 28km/h, it would have been over $300, the officer told me. She was rather nice about the whole thing, actually... Still painful though

That's cheap... I have a feeling that sort of fine is over 250 bucks here. It's a while since I've been booked though and I ain't trying to find out

Ow! Stuff that!

How low will those EF springs make my car?
Have you found out how much it'll cost to ship them yet?!? Sorry, I'm an impatient bugger!!

This is the car with the heavy duty springs on them. The wheels are the factory sized 14" with 195x60x40 tyres:

Notice how close the tyres are to the guards? I could just get a finger between guard and tyre at the back. It's a very stiff ride though. The car scraped speed humps if you went over them too fast and the nose didn't like my driveway too much. The driveway is a down then up deal.

BTW - one caveat. If you decide you don't like 'em, send 'em back (unless Moppie wants them)

Compared to my current ride which is about 2 1/2cm below stock below:

I maynot be able to find out costs until Tuesday... Monday I have a staff meeting after work and I'll have to get the springs weighed and costs calculated.

Shame she didn't get what she wanted, which is why she was your LAST girlfriend! :finger: :finger: :finger: :finger4: J/K mate

I'm not sure. I don't want soft suspension, but touring car stiff might be a bit too rough on the old kindeys! Ah well. I'll have a think about it when Setanta tells me how much it'd cost to ship them.

You foreigners get to have all the fun
Your car looks great! I like the wheels, they compliment the car well. My car came with old school 14" american racing wheels They were hideous.

Oh, if you lower it then put a set of performance struts/shocks. Trust me, it makes the ride a lot more enjoyable.
