So you don't think the Acura RL is a good car? My buddy has one and it's just as quite, smooth, as an E320 (for cheaper)
Just because Honda makes Acura doesn't mean it's a Honda econo-box

So would you call a Lexus GS400 a rebadged Toyota Corrola?

No Lexus GS is Toyota Aristo. Design of this car was developed by italians. that's why it looks so good

Just being sarcastic sometimes
RSX is rebadged Integra (which is Civic-based sporty coupe)
Civic Si has same engine as RSX and RSX Type S engine derived from Civic Type R (I believe so 'cause they have the same bore/stroke)
and why we discuss it in Mercedes topic? :-)

That just tells you how far Honda has forced their name into the entire automotive industry--wanted or not.

Although i am new here...

But I must say... if u compare vehicles that are different brand... u gotta compare stuff on the more extreme side... all those features that u listed may make the msrp a little higher... yea... the mercedes are more expansive... but comapre to an acura... it last longer! plus... I would say the mercedes will be more fuel efficient that the acura... and I will be more confident to turn 50mph in a mercedes than in an acura... the body frame is more rigid, safety controls, and etc.. any thing u can think of on a mercedes smokes the acura.. Also... the after sale service also count! think about it... I would say... if u buy a c class, it will cost u less than buying a toyota over the years... even a honda civic

gang$$er, i think the RL is a good car and i feel the same way for the GS, but come on, your comparing them to a benz!? the new e-class destroys a gs is in every statistic except for price (performance-gs300 does 0-60 in 8.8-not sure about that though-but the merc does it in 7.7). the lexus is older, but its still class competitive. the acura rl is a rebaged honda legend and if you ever read CAR magazine its rating of 2 stars should explain why i dont find it to be on the same playing field as an s-class or an e-class. the rsx and the c class sport coupe are comparable and i do think the honda (I MEAN ACURA) is a great package for the money. i have driven it and i find its handling and performance to be more the satisfacotry for a car of its price and category. i dont agree with you that the rsx is 1 whole second fatser because i recall it doing 0-60 in 6.8 and the merc doing the same test in 7.2 (c230 coupe-not c320). four tenths is about a body length and a quater, so this difference is not tiny, but the rsx doesnt have the merc for dead. try the c320 coupe against a rsx or even a cl (base or type´-s). i am sure that the benz would smoke the rsx and stay close with the cl.
