I dont know, lead fumes will kill you pretty quick I bet. I know MIG welding on galvenized will make you sick quick.

Galvanized is not exactly "weldable" because the oils and tins on it burn so fast. When you do weld it, and you see yellow haze around the weld, stop immediately and ventilate the room. The tinning is usually zinc, and when burned at high temps it is volatile and hazardous to your health. Usually when working with lead I use a dual cartridge respirator.

Actualy I just dont like to use lead or bondo to tell the truth I dont like the idea of filler , steel = oxy acetaline , alls Im good for is shrinking steel tried lead filler on a 1930 ford suicide coupe and made a mess , I melted the lead back out and retreated the steel and just oxied it , it was a gash as wide as my foot but only half as long. Thats how the museum showed me works fast on bullet holes too. I just didnt get enough hands on time with the lead to get good at it.
