Base Jumping

I saw a guy on TV that had one of those suits. He did this stunt where he glided back into the door of the plane... Pretty damn cool. I'll stick to SCUBA diving for now though.

scuba is great. ever since i went diving in cancun i wanna get certified. but i dont have the money for gear and jall that right now.

The gear is pretty expensive. I'm getting ready to buy a package for $1500 which includes a regulator, an octopus, a BCD and a computer. The dive store near me is having a warehouse sale, so they have some great prices. The package I am thinking of buying is normally $2400, the thought of saving $900 is quite appealing.

for the base jumping thing,what everyone else said is right...the thing they hold in their hand is to slow em down a lil bit and then pull the big schute out.

just be careful...don't wanna end up like the guy that jumped off the eiffle tower and then broke his leg with half of the french police force watchign

So im also turning 18 soon and I want to go jumping too. I've been trying to figure out how to go about doing it but I dont know what I need to do. I want to eventually try one of those squirrel suits. So someone please help me out. How do I go about doing this?
