Re: NASCAR: Superdetailed 1994 Brickyard Winner

The detail on that car is awesome. Great job so far.
I look forward to watching it progress.
I'm glad to see it performed on a Jeff Gordon car.
Very few super detailed Gordon cars exist I'm sure.

Could you show how the braided lines and fittings go together. I'd like to use them on an upcoming project, and I'm a bit confused as to how the scale pieces go together.

Re: NASCAR: Superdetailed 1994 Brickyard Winner

just one thing i notced your braided lines
look flat in spots. to fix this what i do is i run
thin sodder for eletronics into the the braided
wire this way it wont go flat on you and
you can bend it any way you want. plus it
gives you a nice tab to glue fittings to
but other then that the car is 100%

Thank you guys, here is some more progress.... The engine is fully complete, and installed in the chassis. IT looks like a rats nest now, but atleast you can see the level of detail I am trying to accomplish here....

Dave

Thanks guys......

New updates....... Interior is almost complete, I added detailmaster belts, ignition plate correctly and fully wired, and a new shift lever as well as a fully plumbed fire system with activation plunger. Also detailed out the bottom oil tank. Added Power steering system as well as oil filter to engine bay.
