Yay, the thread's back!!!!!

Not all the cars at the drags were that fast. In fact most of them were at least a second off their normal times. The track must have been really bad on Friday night. I heard heaps of people say that they just couldn't get any traction off the line.

From what I've heard there aren't any FTOs in the States at all. I don't know what the rules are in the US for importing cars, but I bet it would cost a hell of a lot to get one. Just look at the Skylines and what they cost. It'd probably be the same for FTOs.

FTO's are sweet
i like them a lot more than those eclipse. however like mentioned earlier, not much power. but for a light small body, 195 was reasonable. its an NA engine so it packed a good punch.
i like the FTO r spec. but its an FF.
I like FR cars. its more fun in the snow because the rear slips our easier than an FF.

They should definitely have made some with turbos and RWD as an option. Now that would have been the perfect car!!

Hey, I love my tiptronic!! . It’s fabulous for city traffic. I only wish the S15 Siliva came with that transmission as an option.

i know y'all don't seem to like the fact that these cars cost 10,000 dollars to turbcharge..so why not use a drivetrain out of a gs-t eclipse turbo? u would then have a manual tranny and turbocharged engine capable of 400 hp in street trim. it would probably be cheaper to do the swap, and since both cars ARE mitsu's,,, then at least SOME parts have to intrchange with gen 2 eclipses/talons... if someone had the money to look into it..oh what a world this would be.:alien:
