WOW!!!!!!! my jaw dropped when I saw those decals....and I will contact him ASAP.

Thanks tonio and dag. That's why I love coming here. This is what it's all about. I was actually getting down on this whole project and telling myself that I would have to settle for mediocore results if nothing pulled through. And in comes a couple of AFers for me to help me find what I need. I hope this works out.

thanks again guys and keep the comments coming. I feel like a model newb again! (in the level of excitement only of course, hehe)

Looks great. Excellent replication. It looks real good. The only thing that is picking at me is how did you do the Xtreme K&N lid for the air filter? It looks freaking great. The use of PE parts on this car is excellent, couldn't have done near as great a job as you're doing now. Best of luck finishing this excellent replica!

the air filter was done taking the chrome air filter from the 70 revell 3n1 chevelle. I then painted it pink. (i think maybe too light). After the paint dried I took my exacto and ran the blade down it's broad edge. I just kept rotating the filter as I made cuts straight up and down. After the grooves where made I just filled in the lines with a black pen. Nothing special and I think I need to work at it a little harder to make the lines darker

Re: Pop's Muscle car

Great job there!!! I've started a new project using a mint unbuilt 1971 MPC Chevelle SS that you will like. BTW, I paid $80 for it two years ago. I also have a near mint unbuilt AMT 1971 Chevelle annual that I STOLE for $30 on ebay!!! I'll post some pics of my Chevelle later this weekend.

Been hard at work guys. Sorry no progress pics. but I lost my digicam with my memory stick in it. So all i have are these pics I took with my new camera. Clearer pics, but I just don't know how to make them smaller. Sorry.

Well just about done, need to polish out a couple of spots, and add the front turning lamps. But other than that...I'm waiting on those decals.....Keith!!!!!!! hehe

I love replicas!
Great work with the grille, it's a definite improvement.
Engine bay is almost identical. You even included the AutoMeter decal on the inner fender!
