Running shoes always help....... oh wait your trying to make the park avenue faster not beat it in a race (where you would have had a reason to post on this forum) J/K. Mods that help acceleration are typically going increase max hp. The basic mods will help both hp, and acceleration they kind of go hand in hand. If your talking about mods not specific to hp try taller gears, limited slip diff., Lightweight wheels, good tires, and lightening your car.
