Over here Hondas are seen as very boring cars. I for one like them but understand where this image comes from. One thing is for sure. Honda are on a par with BMW and miles ahead of Lexus when it comes to engineering excellence. The suggestions you make are certainly within Honda's ability to achieve, yet for some reason they dont seem interested in joining this game..

You say that it was designed by a former Honda employee who switched to Ferrari? The 360 body wasn't even designed by Ferrari. It was designed by Pininfarina, the well known Italian design firm which has been closely related to Ferrari for the past half-century. And guess who headed the 360 Modena project? That's right, Sergio Pininfarina.

Exactly who , would buy the W12 ot the D1 with VW badge? Yeah , you have a (f.e) 200k VW W12 , and someone with a IS200 says yeah i drive a lexus , and you say i drive a vw , and the lexus driver looks better... I would never buy a supercar or a luxury car named "pepole's car" (Volkswagen)....

Exactly my point.. 200k buys a Bentley. What do VW think they're doing? They already have Bentley, Bugatti, Audi and Lambo. They could make a supercar under any of these names, indeed they will make the Bugatti supercar, but VW simply won't cut it. A Bentley out-and-out sports car would be cool.
