you guys dont know anything about the 3000gt. im sure you are looking at the wrong websites. trust me i know a lot about this car and i can tell you it runs mid to low 15s manual of course. you guys i know this is the integra forums and of course everyone is going to say the integra will win. dont be biased. lets give both cars a chance because i believe theyre very even. and dont forget the 3000gt has 222 hp and weighs about 3200 lbs. that is 52 more hp than the GS-R. i think that makes up for its weight.

Oh, I'm not biased. I drove a stealth turbo before getting the teg and loved it. I would've bought it if it had been in better condition. What I've heard, from Youngvr4 (hardly a 3kgt ignoramus) as well as others is high 15s. No doubt they can do low 15s if drivin expertly. A gs-r can probably do a 14.9 if drivin expertly.
Most importantly, if you want to see which is faster, RACE!!!

youngvr4 doesnt know about bases or SLs 3000s he just knows about vr4. go check on the 3000gt forum and youll see that im right. and by the way i agree with you the best way to find out is to go out and race. also VR4s are all manual 6 speed.

Give it up dude. I drive a 94 3000GT SL and even I know that Integras are unbeatable! I have never seen one I couldnt spank but I know they are faster. I also know that stock the 3000GT SL is faster but there is no way we could beat them. Hell I even bet that If I go and post my time sheets and let all these guys post thiers, even if I was quicker and proved it I still would not win......Do you know why? Cause they are Honda guys! Talking to a honda guy is like picking a fight in preschool, "my daddy is stonger then yours cause I say so!"

Look, you guys. There are moron Honda owners, I'm not disputing that. There are also moron Mitsubishi owners. Hell, there are moron Pinto owners. (Wait... if they're driving a pinto, doesn't that make them a moron by definition?
 )Go ahead and post your time sheets, (if your car is pretty much stock), and if they're better than what a similarly modded gs-r can do, I'll rest my case. In the meantime, lets not turn this into a "Honda owners are stupid!" "No they aren't, Mitsubishi owners are stupid!" thread. And just for the record, if it wasn't for their reliability problems, I'd be driving a dsm right now.

I killed a 3000GT non turbo a couple of weeks ago at my local cruz. I have a 94 GSR. That thing was automatic and slow as hell. I beat it by about 3 and a half cars. Non turbo 3KGT's are a waste of time.

3000gt is really heavy for its size, but has more horsepower and will handle better than a gsr. A type R is totally different, but in response to your question, I'd say the teg would win in a 1/4mile, but otherwise, the 3k is faster.
