Yes you are seeing the beginnings. Unfortunately, do to limited room in the front it will look similar to just a bell housing with a little bump on the back thats connected to the diff (kit supplied). The rear, however, will have the full rwd transmission and a diff attached to the side with R34 driveshafts.

BTW, the rear 283 chevy engine comes with optional Supercharger assembly, is this a good idea....

Well, here's the interior. I need to apply the speaker decals and then I can put the seats in. Oh, don't worry about the back of the speaker board, that's going to be covered in aluminum foil. I also dremeled out the hole in the chassis for the rear engine, but I not only made it too deep, but I took out the gas tank as well. Oh well, that's where our best freind styrene card comes in. Also, I painted the front part of the chassis (topside only) and ran outta silver. So, I'll pick some up tomorrow and ill finish fabbing up the rear engine, diff, tranny, and driveshafts and I should be done with the chassis. Also, the color will be Candy Blue i.e. gold base with metallic blue on top.

Do you have a friends who smoke? Steal an empty cigarette pack, and pull out the silver (or gold) foil from inside, and use that. It has a small pattern that looks awesome as heatsheilding.

im not understanding how this is going to work, how will the 283 transmission fit? and how will it connect to the half shafts?

CAV. Ill do my best to explain it. For the front, I have chopped back the bell housing and added the back of a wheel hub to look like the cadillac fwd transmissions. The kit supplies two half shafts connected to a differential, on the stock block, you'd glue the diff right in front of the transmission. That's basically what I did with the 283. It won't look too realistic, but that's not the point. I just want it to look cool.

As far as the rear, well, I cant fit the full rwd transmission onto the 283 and make it fit. So, I'll so something similar and cover it with a piece of aluminum or styrene card.

Will, that's a great idea for the aluminum. I can get loads of it from Mark.

Thanks for your input guys.
