Re: electrical problem

you are going to have your hands full. try tracing and reconnecting wires that have been cut up.
that 80 turbo t/a is a nightmare i almost have the wiring fixed. got about 10 more wires to put crimp connectors on and tape everything off

Re: electrical problem

by golly i figured it out...i used to have an ameter in there so i just took the wiring from that and hooked it to the volts meter not thinking... well sure nuff i sat down and thought about it and unhooked the volts meter and bam everything worked again, my dad had the ameter directly wired into one of the main power wires

Re: electrical problem

wonder how the 301 turbo will run? i had a 80
trans am my sophmore year of high school but
it was a se. had the shaker hood scoop, 301
it ran kinda slow, need a carb kit and a tune up
bad. i sold it after 4 months and bought a 6 banger
camaro. i was sad and wanted it back and the man
had already sold her to someone before i could get it back. but now i have her back only with a turbo
charged engine and a cut up wiring harness.

Re: electrical problem

i dont know even if it will run could be locked up tighter than fort knox. it has sit for 10 years
and had two inches of dust on it. i already
washed it, armorall'd the dash, it really cleaned up nice, with the exception of a few surface rust spots here and there. im going to repaint it and
put the gold decals back on it. then get ban one
put on the rear license plate.
