Re: all motor, turbo

thanks, i dont really know much about all those tb, intake manifold and underdrive pulleys. but i would prob just to the intake, header and exhaust. one more thing, u said i can just get a GSR auto motor which i know already has 170-80 horses. but im from australia and here, all the GSR's which are called vtirs here are all manual. i have to stay with auto. also what about the vtec head. is it simple.

can i just go to any motor shop and ask them if they can get the gsr vtec head. what parts will be need to do a complete vtec head installation. and will this boost the HP. and if so, how much.

i dont really care if i can tgo up to 160hp. cause remember, i had a d16 civic. so the integra LS (here in australia its called gsi) is enough but if i can get more power. then thats better. if the vtec head is abit too serious, then i will just prob get a short ram filter. the cold air intake looks quite dificult. i have to remove the bumper. that too much. i had a K & n short ram filter in my civic before and i love the sound. does it really matter with the brand for the filters. is K & N alright.

i knwo i am asking too much but i really want advice with what to get and do. about the headers and exhaust, i am on a budget. so what can u guys recoomend for oth mods. i want a quiet exhaust note, but still having a sporty sound. and what exhaust. remember i am on a budget.
thanks

you will be able to get a decent amount of power out of a turbo setup without having to fuck around with internals. this means that if the day comes where you decide to sell your car it's an easy un-bolt job. i think all motor would be a lot more expensive if you want the same amount of power that a turbo setup would give you. but the all motor would have better off the line power. i don't think all motor would be as fun as turbo though.
