I'm seeing a ray of hope here. Maybe you can say that in the NA/FI thread we have. Help me out
![]() I've seen plenty of NA hybrid civics in magazines and racing. A 13 second daily driven, show winning, cone carving, bass thumpin civic is already pretty f'in good! |

You just gotta let people see the whole picture of EVERYTHING that needs to be done. ICE is going to cost more money than people think. You've got stereo system, window tint, mirrors, head/taillights, VAFC controller, seats, custom interior, floor mats, pedals, indiglow gauges, PS2, tv screen(s), a custom license plate, the list is endless......

Well said guys, the best example is in the new issue of SCC, with the ultimate street car challenge. We could basically focus on the areas of competition they use to judge the cars. Comfort, braking, looks, power (dyno), speed (1/4 mile), grip/lateral g's, road course test (for all around track prowess), and that about wraps it up.
Im for a small turbo, just becuase Id like more power, but I wouldnt do it at the expense of the suspension, etc. Maybe we should see how we can budget the other areas in, before we actually "buy" a turbo? |
