To learn they will have to ask dumb questions! There's a first step to enerything and you should be happy that these people want to learn. There was a time when you didn't know anything about cars, there was a time when none of us knew anything about cars and someone helped us learn more, it's our turn to teach them so next time they ask a dumb question, answer it instead of telling them to go screw themselves and look at the FAQ, even though they should have done it. :-P

Realistic
Mate... no offence or nothing but dont say something is easy and doable until you've tried it yourself.
Personally, I have done one engine swap where me and some friends decided to drop in a 4age into a corolla[87 model]. And yes we managed to some shit are self but when it comes to wiring, etc. you cant learn that shit from a book! fuck, we had to get a electrician to make sure the ecu, etc was connected properly. Not to mention placing the motor in correctly wasnt the easiest of jobs. In the end if you got a lot of money and arent afraid to spend it, go to a shop. If you got a bit of money and some equipment do some work yourself then get it properly finished, eg get the technical work done by a electrician. If you really want a project/pain in the ass do it yourself, and realise your gonna need time/money/equipment/most probably help and frickin pateince as you will go nuts when you realise you forgot something, etc. whatever floats ya boat! peace

That IS a better way... but with the forum up here, it makes it much easier to find what you need much quicker. That's where the problem with newbies expecting to be fed any answer they want comes... even with the FAQ AND the search engine! :bleh:
