No, I have enough sense to turn mine off, not like some people!

I have one in my car, but it's never turned on.

LOL, I don't even answer the phone at my house.

My mother is sure that since I have caller ID, if I see it's her, I won't pick up.

The thing that sucks about cellphones though, is that you have no excuse why you can't be reached. Like, if you don't want to talk to someone, and they call your house, you can just not answer it, and say you weren't home.

I don't think that's entirely true. Yes, the whole idea behind cellphones is that you can be reached anywhere, but you don't have to answer it. I had a friend who got a cellphone not too long ago. Anytime I called him when he wasn't expecting my call, he had the ringer off, and I got his voicemail. Frustrating, but understandable. Everyone has their own lives to deal with too. Yes, a cellphone is convenient, but it should never be a burden, if it's a personal cellphone, and not one for work that is. Just my .02, and I haven't even had a cellphone for 24 hours, but just some thoughts I had going into it.

Good on ya. Here in New Zealand you only get billed or count against your air time when you make calls. Everyone else pays to call you. This is cool as everyone always gives out their mobile numbers and why not. It does not cost you a thing when the phone you hahaha.

I agree. I leave my mobile off until I get home, unless the boss is not in. I use it more for text messaging than phoning also

I love having a cell phone, but I have to admit that I do find it irritating when people keep calling me... But now I found out I can receive text messages even though I can't send them, which is cool. I went out to a movie the other night, but I was expecting a call, so I had my phone on vibralert, and I swear I got called 5 times within 45 minutes!!! And what's worse is that none of the calls were whom I had expected! Oh well.

Like I say, man's blessings and curses are TVs and cell phones!!!

Thankfully I've avoided both for the most part...
