Re: '99 Mustang CObra-In Progress

The Turbo I4 is for his datsun project. As he said, the Mustang Cobra R will be curbside(no motor)

Yikes, I think I'm about to add to the confusion here! First off, I am making a separate progress-thread for the Datsun.
-The Sparco(chrome-looking rims) are for the Datsun.
-The Mustang has SVT rims from a Ford SVT die-cast Focus.
-The Mustang is a 1/25 Revell '99 Cobra kit.
-The Datsun is 1/25 Revell Tuner 510 kit.
Putting some '95 Cobra R wheels would look tight, but I don't want to waste the SVT rims.
This is a "95 Tamiya Cobra R model I did awhile ago...

Now for my '99 Cobra... I painted the Cobra body, decided to keep the wing on.
Geez panel lines are hard. The way I did them I'm pretty sure this is the last time...they do not look right on a scale model to me at all

Some ride height pics..too low?
Interior is finished, head/tail lights, windows and trim completed.
I used black for the door rubber along the top.

Some outdoor pics reflect the "true" color!

Almost there!

Thanks!
The paint is Tamiya Bright Red, TS-49.
I think all hobby shops carry them and also online stores.
I have not clear coated yet, but I'll use Tamiya Clear, X-13?
