i only turn it on when it gets to a certain temp, then off when cool enuff, hopefully it won't give me any crap.

yeah id say that was it. the car still run
around 200-210 all the time too.
id say the block probally had a hairline
crack.

Not sure what year your car is but on mine one of the fans is for normal cooling and the second one usually only comes on when the a/c is running.
