I had a 95 1 1/2 years back i had the cat hollowed out at hp shop in result of - the check engine light came on
(Your cat went bad ) Possible MORE LIKLY THOUGH corrently have a 96 (check engine light came on) lose of power when getting on it and car had stumble in 3rd an 4th about 2200 rpm - 3700 rpm ( replaced both O2 sensors ) -----> Everything is fine now

i had a bad oxygen sensor. i had them replaced
and had a dual outlet xcelerator muffer put on it. but the 02 sensors was the problem...thanks for yoiur reply.
