Re: sooo bummed..

Hang in there man, I've had those days too. I'm 19 now, got my '69 coupe when I was 17. Right when I got my car, it seemed to run a little rough, so I pulled the heads.. the piston walls were really scuffed.. needless to say, I spent all my money rebuilding the engine, then I spent all the money I made on my summer job on having my transmission rebuilt(the first day I had my mustang running decently again after I rebuilt the motor the transmission let go.. that was a bad day.) After installin the new tranny, I tried to start it - the wiring somehow shorted and the starter wouldn't stop cranking. At first I thought it was a faulty starter, so I replaced that.. didnt fix it... So the only other thing it could be was the wiring. Now, I'm just completing rewiring the entire car(every single wire.).. Then I get to build a new dash and install my new guages... Then I get to start it! The car has never been running for more than a week straight. I bought the car August 14th 2002. I have gone broke too many times to count. Oh and I just figured out a week ago that my rear differential is completely shot and causes bad vibrations at speeds over 30mph, so I have to get a new diff. I'm just getting a spool at this point, I cant afford any kind of Limited Slip(wouldnt get one anyways though) and a locker is too annoying around the corners. I'd rather have chirping tires. So yeah man... Its a long very hard road, but I love it. I could never sell my car... I have too many projects lined up for it!
