z28 boy, what i mean is that the hack jobs ive seen, the stuff they use actually cause a coating on the rotors and get into the pads, causing squeeks, brake fade, warped rotors, pitted and corroded rotors, accelerated wear, and just plain ugly work. they always come in and try to get it fixed under warranty, cuz its OEM rotors and pads, but as soon as i see that paint, uh uh buddy boy. games over cuz even if you tape everything off, and you dont overspray, when the calipers heat up the stuff lets off vapors and other residues that get deposited everywhere, same principle as tire shine, ever see a white car with tire shine after its been driven a while??? get that nice grease smear down the car behind the wheel well, where the tire shine got thrown off by the spinning wheel.

Well for the longest time, I thought i just had bad luck with drivin' over fresh pavement..

Turns out it was the tire shine.. Looked real pretty splattered all over my newly painted bright red Z28
