Hi Godfather,

Nope i didn't used any pe on this kit.

Thoses decals are really paint in the ass, too too fragile i messed up the set to do the number 9 so i'll do the number 11 .

It's a shame from fujimi 'cause their kit are great but those decals are so thin

I work in parallele on my Italian Red Porsche GT2 to distress myself.

I´m kinda glad, I had the Studio27 for my "hippie". Otherwise it would be impossible to do the decal work. Don´t worry, the car will look great eventually. It´s just sad that you can´t do the number set, you wanted initially, don´t let it get to you!

Re: Progress' Ford GT40 N°9 68 Le Mans

Looking better with every update The orange arrow is not something you see on a GT40 regularly. And it certainly would be easier to do than matching the orange paint on the nose of the winning car. Is that a PE part for the rear louver, S27?

P.S. you are building too quick, slow down you make the rest of us look slow

Tanx Phil, yes finally this paint scheme could be great, and matching this orange for the nose could be very very tricky.

The louver is not PE, i'm not using any pe on that one it's just the louver paint in chrome.

See no need to be disappointed. Looks just great, I especially love that decal work. There is nothing classier than the gulf wyer racing look. It will be another great model finished by you!

Very beautiful. It's really nice to see all the vintage racers showing up on the board, perhaps it will inspire some more (I have an Accurate Miniatures McLaren M8B awaiting my attention... I think I'm about ready to tackle it). This build is fantastic, the colors are spot on, can't wait to see it done!

Which McLaren M8 do you have to build Willimo? I'm going to build one soon too. The Kovaleski/Adamowicz orange, white and black liveried version. Just for practice before doing a proper job on a Bruce or Denny works machine.

Re: Progress' Ford GT40 N°9 68 Le Mans

umm Im thinking you are talking about the GT-40 wich woped ferraris ass in LeMans four years runing in the mid 60's how could you not know this car. thay had an unlimited amount of money and the only stipulation was that it had to win. this was started when Ferrari refused to be sold to ford and ford got mad.

Besides the talking of whop-assing or something. This body is so life like. The color is close to the real one.
