Re: wheel horsepower?

i don't know, I think the lude will win, but i don't think it would actually wipe the floor with the SE-R. I'm not doubting who's going to win, im just saying how much would the lude win by.

Re: wheel horsepower?

i've seen this SE-R at the track running 14.x naturally aspirated....kinda hard to do in a lude.

Re: wheel horsepower?

14's are cake in a lude. you could probably hit it with a bone stock motor, just throw some mt's on.

Re: wheel horsepower?

You just need to drive and shift flawlessly. It's possible.

Re: wheel horsepower?

well a vtec prelude that has a SAFC, the owner could easily tune vtec to come in on 3-4 rpm, giving him a mugh higher adavnatage. dont forget about VTEC!!!

Re: wheel horsepower?

first its a vafc that youre refering to... and just cause you turn vtec down to 3k doesnt mean youre going to gain power. youll probably end up losing midrange doing that. stock engagement is 5200 for a reason, and worked and tuned engines are usually best at about 4800.

look at this graph. heres an example when vtec is below where its supposed to be set.
