My car is hitting fuel cut not because of fuel starvation but because of the ecu not reading enough air flow from the vaccume leak at high boost it instantly cuts of fuel to the engine to save the turbo from blowing up. (feels like you hit a brick wall or the sort). And the 4g63 engine STOCK can handle 400+ hp(1st gens being alittle more). And the 14b turbo will NEVER reach those kind of hp numbers concluding running even 30 psi is not going to blow the motor just the turbo itself. The stock srt4 hp #'s are in the 220's and even some freak srt4's in the 230's depending on the altitude and weather. But Im stating That the 04 srt4 lost by about 1 car 5000 rpms into 3rd gear from a roll. I do know im not hitting the 300hp mark. But with 550 injectors, and afc and some tuning who knows. And just to make another FACT about turbos if any of you confused people are unsure about the 14b turbo. Its the exact same turbo as the 16g but a smaller compressor wheel. Only upgrade to make a 14b a 16g is bigger compressor wheel which runs about $149 where I live.

good run for you, if it was indeed fair, you said 18's, his has 17's. not that big of a diff and the tires on his are probably the '03 model' 205's

you sure do have funny races, you can pull on a ws6, barely beat a gsr from a roll and beat a new srt4
damn sorry you have a 14b turbo now so your really fast, and 18's right?? i thought you got rid of them? or you just put em on for racing so you can make excuses?

Umm your point? I guess your trying to compare 17 inch alloys to 18 inch chrome wheels? Try looking at 1 very important ratio. weight of my car to the stock srt4 2004. I didnt even try to point out that when the srt4 went WOT I was about a fender behind before I went WOT. I dont come off trying to say IM KING OF THE STREETS or anything. But a stock 2004 srt4( frist ever race with 1, I did come out on top). You can add in alot of additional factors. One which being ITS THE DRIVER. But how hard is it to shift from 2nd to 3rd? and on and on and on....

I can get glory from winning a race with the rims and also die by the traction the rims dont give from a dig. There are pros and cons in everything. And the 14b gives about a 200% better OH SHIT HERE COMES the boost than the t25.So yeah the 14b does make the spyder seem abit more faster. Only thing to every dsm after modding and adding a bigger turbo is to tune it. Thats where I should see the next most biggest hp gains. But all In all, I have one thing most people dont have, PROOF OF WHAT IVE GOT IN MY CAR and can back up this statement by hitting up ol CARRRNUTTT and take him out for alittle spin.

I just stated that I earlier pointed out that the SRT-4 has a 16g turbo. You posted that, then told me I have no knowledge about the car, and proceeded to tell me that it has a 16g turbo. What do you know about the SRT-4? So far all i'm hearing is bogus subjective reasoning regarding the car. The 4g63 engines responds better to boost this and that. Nope. That's not true, and I own a 4g63 engined car. They are taking a highly modified SRT-4 to the Salt Lake Flats to take a chance at going over 200 mph with over 900whp. The car ain't no joke. I just find it hard to believe that your car outpowered the neon. I think you more or less outdrove him.

But we all learn after afew years not to buy a turboed convertible sports car at the age of 19 and spend $2,400 every 6 months for the past 4 years on insurance alone. Thus making maint and mods more time consuming. So I guess nothing I say can make a bigger Impact than getting that 16g compressor wheel in along with 550's and an afc then post some dyno HP numbers above 300 or more. Then I might have a valid arguement on beating a stock srt4. I guess thats what your trying to say no?

Ouch, chrome colored..? heh no. His car is the 04 because I ASKED HIM before we even ran, twas an 04. Like I said, an srt4 is an awsome car, but I won from a roll in 2nd gear. the 1st srt4 ive ran.
