Since I found this thread, I thought I might as well point out an observation I made - isn't it a wonder that most of the used trade in vehicles you see on Hyundai lots are Fords? weird.
Hyundai used to be pretty crummy, not so much now. I have actually seen a couple very old Hyundai Excels, about as many as I've seen Yugos recently, but they're still out there driving around.

where do u see lots of hyundai excels? because in the US the excel first arrived in 1986, and they didnt' sell much, as for honda the civic has been around since 1972 and i see LOTS N LOTS of civics everywhere, excels? nah... not much, in fact where i live i dont see any at all, the only place i see hyundais/kias/mitsubishis left n right is in korea town
