From '93 to '95 the 3.4L was standard. In '95 however the 3.8L became an option, in '96 the 3.4L was droppin in favor of the 3.8L and it became the base V6.

Re: Smoked a Camaro

Well after looking at the mid 90's camaros it looked more like a 95 than a 96.

Re: Smoked a Camaro

Good kill. BTW the 95 is the same as the 96 body style wise. In fact 1993-1997 are the same body style. In 98 they revised the look again until 2002. The V6's are typically the same engine as yours, just w/o forced induction. I raced a heavily modified GTP in my former n20 owerd LS1 camaro and got killed (He runs low 12's). His name is Martin, you may know him on the ClubGP board (Mr2177)

Re: Smoked a Camaro

nothing like a blown 6 people around this area don't know what a supercharged car sounds like I give it gas let the SC scream and they still insist on going at it

I would think your 13's, my friend may have a freak 97 GTP. 1.9 rockers, 3.4 pulley his biggest mods and he pulls off a 13.7, plans on DHP and a shift kit soon.

Re: Re: Smoked a Camaro

Well I din't do as well as I thought but if I improve my shitty 60' from 2.77 to a 2.0-2.1 I should be deep into the 13s with this setup.

I got a best of [email protected] w/ a 2.77 60' because I can't launch the damn thing. I am hoping this is just because it is the first time I have ever been to the track with any car. I am probably going to go again next week just to nail the launch.

1st: Those times aren't always accurate
2nd: Just because they're a magazine doesnt mean they are the best drivers.
3rd: The GM 3800 responds very well to minor tuning.
4th: Family sedan with the heart of a lion, i know personally, i've taken quite a few down some back roads by the shop i work at.

Get your nose out of the magazines and get into some cars for a change

Who gives a shit what results they got? If you had actually taken one WOT i might believe you, but i know what those cars can do and i know it's very believeable.
