each dealer right now has 1 or 2 tC's sitting there for test driving and display.. i asked about the xa's/xb's sitting on the lot.. their waiting for their owners to pick them up.. and i already test drove one.. the one at wonderies toyota.. they added all these options just to show the car off.. stuff normal people wouldn't get.. ya know what i mean?

most of the options are just there to get us to spend as much money as possible...when i order my tC (at the end of the summer), im just gonna stick to the basics: 18" rims, custom Bazooka sub enclosure, and TRD lowering springs

i havent seen the price on the struts, and would you pay $335 for a CAI, plus then dealer installation cost? i'd rather wait and get the AEM intake on my own and install it myself...$228 isnt bad at all for an 18" wheel upgrade, plus those Enkeis are sweet

Re: Scion tC

just as a warning, if you are looking for a system, dont waste your money on the bass tube deebo...(but its up to you). I heard they were making a v-6 with turbo, anyone know if thats true??? (Maybe its just a 4 with turbo??).

well, a bass tube no way, i would just do my own system like i have on all my other cars...but with the custom enclosure that they have for the tC, i'd just as soon opt for that and be able to finance the cost and not have to worry about wiring

Re: Scion tC

there's a lot of options that the tC isn't getting compared to the xA and xB

Re: Scion tC

i work for a toyota dealer and the new tC is a pretty good car...from what Scion released so far (xA n' xB-box with wheels) i didn't really like them...i was surprised at the price tho, i thought it was gonna be lil bit more expensive like 20K. Anyway...you guys are gonna see LOTS of tC's on the street because they are Selling!....thought i share that!!!!!

My wife saw the tc and absolutely loves it now. I was leaning towards the mazda 3 but its her choice I guess. I guess if she goes for it we will ask for the supercharger option, just how available are those options? can anyone get one or are they limited per dealer. also if you already own a tc w/o supercharger get off the high horse. 160 hp is pathetic for a 2.4 liter. I somked two tc punks on my way to work this morning! its a gorgeous car but its not a sports car!

Re: Scion tC

Here's an option for Scion: Make the 2AZ-FE an option in the xA and the xB.

Re: Scion tC

160hp isn't pathetic from a 2.4 liter its not made to be a race car.. its just another sporty coupe.. nothing special except the price.. everyone is humping this car left and right.. i think it gets more recognition then it deserves
