i never said you needed projectors to have HID? all I meant was that any new car from like 98 on has what i refer to as projector style lights just like the ones in the picture above... clear lens, reflective housing, and a bulb... that is a projector. as opposed to the older style lights which have an opaque lens. HID still uses this clear lens and reflective housing just a differnt bulb and stuff....

OH and ricochets car looks badass, one of the best looking civics i have ever seen, and that includes the headlights.

But there are 6.8 billion people on the planet, and there will always be 6.8 billion different opinions.

Well Ricochet, I think your car looks fine, lol. Plus, if someone is going for the dark look with a car (and/or doesn't have a 6th gen where CTR headlights are possible) then projectors can help round out the clean dark look of the car. I get the impression that's the reason they are on your car, to complete the clean dark lines of the front side of your car. Everything kind of flows together, versus having a chrome housed headlight which stands out against the black paint. Anyways, that's my impressions, and I think your civic looks good. I think the front profile.

I have a friend that has all blacked out on his car. We just painted his OEM housing BLACK and it looks a thousand times better then the projectors but to each his own. It was a lot cheaper too

Ok since alot if not all of you are against the euro clear tailights, then I guess I'll keep the stock lights on there, but can I still exchange the middle black panel to the red reflector or to a newer civic?

Thx

Okay, maybe I just forgot...but what is the middle black panel you are refering too...the stock tailights don't have a middle black panel..maybe I'm just confused...explain what it is you are talking about.
