Re: 93 Lumina APV 3.1 Stalling Problem
Ya.. thank goodness I did an in depth google search on this problem and found it to be very typical of mainly chevy cary/vans before I spent oodles of cash on pieces and parts that I didnt need. I must have read about 200 similar stories when I did the google search.

Re: 93 Lumina APV 3.1 Stalling Problem
The TCC is in the Tranny... however, the plug to "disarm" it is on the tranny.
You can find it by opening the hood and looking at the tranny on the front side (way down). Its on the tranny right behind the radiator and you should see a blue clip. Carefully take the clip off (mine was a 4 prong clip but only 2 wires attached). It unclips from the lower side of that clip so reach down there and try to push the snapping part down while gently pulling the clip out. A flashlight will help you locate the clip with no problem.. Its a little dark without it. |

Re: 93 Lumina APV 3.1 Stalling Problem
Disconnected the TCC on my sister's 92 a few years ago, but your symptoms seemed different. I know she said the car was almost like a manual tranny when you try to stop without pushing the clutch in.
