Hey, question for you all...

In my P10 (picture forthcoming when I am home) there is a bit of open space on the doors directly above the speakers... Could we conceivably put bolt-on cup holders here or is there wiring/window space behind it???

cupholder solution!!!!!!!

ok- here's the plan.

it's a two stage plan...

stage 1: get new girlfriend.

stage 2: give her cups to hold.

ta daaaaa!~~~~~~~

instant cupholder!

i broke up with my old girlfriend- but eh- she wasn't a really good cupholder.

Do you think could you fit a Super Big Gulp in there? My mom's integra has something simular, but the tray doesn't come out far enough and the side of the cup is all jamed up agianst the radio.

Does anyone know if there is a armrest replacement for the G20?

yeah, i think it's just like a lot of those japanese aftermarket cup holders.

they only work with small water bottles or 12oz cans. :rocket:

I put drinks (of pretty much any size) in the armrest thingy (technical term ) I have some pens and stuff in there that i move to fit around the different sized drink containers. A soda can fits perfectly in there, and you can even close the lid. But... it's not a great solution, as it only fits one drink, and when in use, you don't have an arm rest...

That DIN cupholder looks good... too bad i'm gonna probably end up putting gauges there.. maybe i'll have to find somewhere else to put the gauges, other than the DIN opening. hmmm.

Unhappy Yeah! What's up with the cup holder???

I use the one from pep boys. The thing that you can adjust and tighthen, more like a vise concept. I put it on the hand break and it works fine. The only problem is you better finish your beverage before you get to your destination. Once you park your car, whatever you have in the cup holder will be tilted and possibly spill some liquid. Better look kinda stupid than burn my..., you know what Can I say balls?

THIS SETTLES THE CUP HOLDER ISSUE!!!!!!

ok - i was up in san francisco at some little race shop and found a set of cup holders that are-

AWESOME...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...003138&r=0&t=0

these look very similar to the ones i bought at that race shop and they are surprisingly sturdy...

it hooks onto your A/C vent- and with that placement- chills your drink when the A/C is on because the drink sits right in front of the vent!!!

it'll carry a good sized drink and your cellphone when you're done with the drink... it's a great place for the cellphone because it holds your phone closer to eye level and when you're cruising with your loud stereo- u can just glance over at the phone when it's blinking and u know you're getting that booty call- err- u know...

so anyways- i think it's the best cup holder out there...

your thoughts?

EWW... it's a Type tRendy cupholder :hehe: But in all honesty, decent idea, but i'd be afraid that anything larger than a soda, or maybe even a full 12oz soda can, the holder wouldn't hold. It'd make a nasty mess if it were to spill from up there too. That's the biggest disadvantage I can see right now.

Thumbs down This is some B/S

I have a P!! and the cupholder SUCKS! It's almost under the stereo so you can't fit anything but cansin it. It's O.K. for soda cans (just O.K.)
But it's better at holding change and loose stuff!

So I'm thinkin' if the P10 has cup holder issues, you'd think they would have fixed it by now! BASTARDS!

Peace!

just wanted to comment on the "Type R" cupholder....

when I got my P10...I tryed living with the fact that it had nothing to hold my coffee for me...I used to do what JustinP10 does...putting it in the armrest with other stuff to stop it from moving..

well...I got fed up...went to good ol' Canadian Tire(their auto dept is like Pepboys in the states I think) anyway...bought my G a "TypeR" cupholder for 6bucks Canadian...clips onto the air vent... looks very unsturdy...but

it works..it works really well...
if I take a corner at 120 or 140...it doesn't spill. unless the dude at the drive-thru forgets to put the lid on right.

anyway...just my thoughts on it.
