Smile Thanks all.

The point of keeping it so plain and simple is that it is supposed to be a sleeper. I really don't dig the heavily modded for appearance look of most of the aftermarket imports. I have taken great pains to keep it plain, though in my opinion good-looking. All the money goes into increasing performance, though in time I may get all the little dings (there are actually a lot of them, however small) removed and get her repainted.

All in all, she's doing very well for a 1994 with a little over 132,000 miles.

JEEEEEEZ! That's HELLA CLEAN for a 1994. Mine is a 1998 and it's probably not as nice as that. Let me take a wild guess....garaged at night (Or whenever you're at home?)?

I couldn't tell you about the first 95,000 miles of her existence, though I think she was outside, as the paint on the hood was pretty faded (the hood has since been replaced). I got her in the fall of 1999 with 95,246 miles. She then spent the next year and a half outside all the time until April of this year, when I decided to spring for a garaged spot at $60 a month. So since then she hardly ever sees the sun (I love driving at night - no sun, which I hate, and most drivers are at their destinations, leaving the roads open for people like me) or the elements, she's looking much cleaner these days (another secret is an Armor All product - I think it's called "Diamond Finish" or something - it's really excellent, and a big part of the reason the car looks as good as it does - you should see the way rain drops bead up and roll off after a fresh coat has been applied). And I have a beater (1985 Mercury Marquis) I drive to and from work everyday.

Hrm. Yeah, I gotta do something about keeping it clean. I've pretty much given up on the inside, as I'm drilling holes here and there and mounting stuff all over the place. But the outside still has some saving grace. The paint is a little worn and I'm pretty sure the layers and layers of wax I used to lay on every weekend is now gone. (I think it's been a good 6-8 months since she last got waxed.) I once paid $200 to get all the dents rolled out of her and another $40 to repaint the gas door where there was a huge scratch. I've got a massive dent in that gas door now and a few small dent along the sides of the car where people don't know how to open a door carefully. (I can't stand it when people do that!) Sad. I'll have to look into that Armor All stuff. I use Meguire's and honestly, I can't tell the difference between one type of element vs. another...

I personally like the clean sleeper look. They're great and simple, nothing too flashy.

They just don't know what's under the hood... hehehhe !

Yeah, I've got the sleeper look too. No monster tach, no pillar gauges. Everything on the interior is mounted in the gauge cluster or under the dash. But there's still holes from everything that got mounted and re-mounted. I'll have to post pics of my interior sometime. Here's my gauge cluster...

Not quite...take a closer look at the gauge and you'll see the logo. BTW - I just met Oscar at SEMA this past weekend...

what does a cluster like that run?

What did that guage cluster cost, and was it difficult to install? I'm lookin at an integra gsr myself, and I think that gauge cluster does alot for the bland integra interior. Good work.

neouser, is your car supercharged? I think that's the Jackson Racing logo on that guage. That looks really nice by the way. Hopefully I'll be getting a Integra GSR soon.

B-I-N-G-O! Good work on identifying logos.

BTW - The bezel is anywhere from $50-75 from Autometer. I didn't want the tell-tale pillar pods either. I'm all for the sleeper look. Boy, did I surprise the hell out of a VR6 on Friday. (Not dissing VR6's. I have TONS of respect for them. But, I guess this guy is used to killing Hondas, because I surprised the living hell out of him.)
