Ahh, nope, it's the flathead V8 conversion. No one that I know of really does many model A four parts. Though Model Car Garage had a sweet resin and photoetch kit for 1:25th scale Stromberg 97's that had functioning throttle plates in their venturis.

Re: AMT '29 Ford (not rod) kit ?

Ahh ok. I don't know but I'd guess I could always make up an "Ardun" conversion myself (thought using a hemi valve cover and carbs-yet-to-be-decided on might be convincing), or even a riley four port head in styrene sheet built up.

Re: AMT '29 Ford (not rod) kit ?

Ahh.... i bought the AMT 1929 Ford Model A roadster tonight and infact it has lots of spare parts, infact it has enough to make 2 compete cars in the one kit. Two bodys, chassis, engine, wheels, tires, etc, etc, it comes with a Four banger as well as a supercharged HEMI Dodge motor. It also comes with the wooden wheels as well as "smoothie" chrome wheels

Really a very cool old beast of a kit.
I have this kit. Seems weird so many really small parts.
