There is no adapter needed for that kit. If you want to pay $80 go for it. Thousands of us have "ghetto fit it" and found it works perfectly.

sorry, there was no offense intended in my statement of "ghetto fitting it" lol, I was just thinking its funny how you simply cram the big ass Circular L06 MAF into the oval shaped stock T-joint, which gets stretched out to fit. No harm meant by it. BTW.....Im assuming you have this product, where did you install your TACH wire too....where in the engine bay is the TACH wire, I need to put the long white wire on the translator to a TACH hook up in the engine bay, and i was wondering if you or anyone out there for that matter could help me out with the location of this wire, maybe a picture even? Cause I do not want to run a wire all the way to the ECU just so i can get a good read on my MAFT kit. Thanks, I appreciate it.

Re: Performance MAS!!!

Can anyone give me an explanation of the differences between MAF mode and RPM mode on the L06 Translator...who prefers what, and which is better...any tuning suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Performance MAS!!!

Um, I know that there are TONS of threads regarding tuning it on www.3si.org's forum, under AWD mods section.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

i'm not a real pro on the LS6 MAFT since i have an S-AFC, but basically, if you are using stock injectors, i believe you dont even need to hook up the rpm wire, just get a base setting so you dont run as rich, i think most people just use -5% on their VR-4s

as for a bypass valve, i would go with a 1st gen DSM, their not loud, but they hold boost well, 18 psi stock and 24 psi crushed
