Sorry to bother you with so many questions, but I just received a CF set from SMS and I think €9 (shipping included) is very expensive for just a little sheet...
Its ok man i like questions, lol. Well i had the SAS one til i ran out on the seat. I had bought once the Testors Custom Decal System and i found a clear decal paper laying around so i decided to make my own. I used a normal black to grey pattern and printed it out on my Printer which is a Lexmark X5150 on Best Quality. Its actually pretty cool since the paper is clear the grey blocks take the hue of the surface. Thats why mine look a little goldish Once you put some decal bonder on those decals they turn sooooo strong. I mean i could hold it with my finger and take my time locating it and it wont even brake. Its defenitely great. Its only 5 bucks also! The kit comes with the Decal Bonder and a White and Clear Decal Sheets.

Re: Re: :Progress: Tamiya Porsche GT2

Well, my very kind friend ImportFool312 had once given me a CF pattern. So then i duplicated the Pattern in higher quantities, Scaled it, and Printed it. I think he either used Paint or something else.

Re: :Progress: Tamiya Porsche GT2

Thanx guys. Got bad news. My mother will be going to the Dominican Republic and will be taking the Digital Camera with her. Therefore i wont be able to have pictures of any progress within two weeks. I haven't done any work since the first pictures since i've got a cold

Well tell her she cant take the camera, I want pics. Tell here disposable cameras cost $3.99.

And suck it up and get over your cold, I want to see some more. Your stuff is great, and is fun to look at. Its motivational.

Lol, thanx Mike. This crazy New Jersey weather isn't helping. 2 days ago it was 39 degrees outside and today its 70 degrees. Just crazy.

I know what you mean. Monday it was 19 degrees, today its 87. Its too damn hot to bondo, Im out their for 5 minutes and that blistering sun makes you sweat so fast.

Anyway, I cant wait to see more progress. If I dont see anything between now and tuesday I will have something to look forward to seeing when I come home from Spring Break!

And if you still dont have pics 2 weeks from now, then there will be hell to pay.

BTW, how plyable is the SAS CF? Was it hard to put around the creases of the seats, and different elevations?

Personally i think the decal is way too weak or maybe mine is outdated or something if thats possible. But it was easy to get it to form shapes and stuff since i used Micro Set to help it take form better and then Micro Solution to get it nice and shiny. I learned all that from this How to : http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=145001
