Re: af's own project model car

Its a good idea but there are too many conflicting interests to make a nice model from this. You'd probably be best off doing a build up of the AF 350Z, I personally am not terribly excited about a type of car I do not have interest for.
Seriously, use your minds, a blown Chevy big block mid mounted sideways, in a Honda NSX rolling wire wheels would not be good at all. If you build AF cars it would be better to do 1 model for each area of interest on here, not combine them all.

Re: af's own project model car

You could make a Poll to ask everybody which car represent the most AF (AF 1:1 350Z, Skyline, custom, etc...), but I'm afraid the result would be a Nissan...
The Skyline gtr is quite representative of what AF is: a car that is sold mostly in Japan, but that everyone in the world can dream of, even if it looked a little bit strange for many at the begining... A kind of symbol of open-minding...
But it has been made here so many times...

Re: Re: af's own project model car

Not everyone in japan dreams of a skyline, they're like riced out civics over hear, around every damn corner practically.

Purpura, what you think of my idea? I have an r34 I was gona use for the do-luck t-kit, but if anyone shows some interest in it, i might do it.

Re: af's own project model car

I just think it sounds too complicated to do it to how everyone would like, you just cannot combine so many different types of cars into one, it's like putting a GT wing and a fartcan on to a 1955 Chevy Corvette, demoralising if anything else.
I do think that if you want to build a AF model project that the 350Z would be your best bet, after all it is what the AF car is now and the 350Z is a great car, I think it is the best Japanese car around today. Take it to Igor, see what he thinks about the modelling forum contributing with a replica of the real AF car.

Just my opinions.
