Just thought I should post my system.

JVC KD-S570 (40W x 4)
Rockford Fosgate Power 150.1 amp
Rockford Fosgate Punch Z 10" (2 of them)
Clarion Equalizer/Booster for rear 6x9s (22 watt RMS)
Stock factory speakers (4x6 front) (6x9 rear)

The grand total for everything was under $500. Retail price it would have been near $1000. Pretty good deal I guess.

I would have gone bigger on the subs and amp, but this current setup is almost to much for my car. The subs vibrate everything in and out of the car. It sounds like the car is falling apart. The license plate makes more sound vibrating than you can hear coming from the subs in the trunk.

My Bombastic Shicca

I have an 89 Firebird Formula with the following:

Alpine 7871 HU
Dual Profile 600MSX amps
2 12" JBL GT 120
2 6x9 Pioneer TS-A6690R
2 4x6 JBL GTO6425
StreetWires 48202 Capacitor
Custom amp box
Custom sub box

Pretty soon, I'm getting the car repainted all getting all of the original decals. I've already restored the interior, tuned up the engine, tinted all the windows, and gotten new tires. I should have some pics of the car soon, and the stereo which makes my balls rattle in the seat.

simple but effective! one of the best sounding systems in town, beating out many people with 1000 watts and multiple subs!
Looks like my setup, except I am going to be pushing 1 aw150q audiobahn with an audiobahn a8002t amp, so in other words I am going to be pushing 800 watts rms in a huge box.

Phoenix Gold XS2500 running splits

USAmps USA-2000 for sub

Only got the car a month or two ago, so install isn't finished, but will get pics when it's done.
