Re: Car Choice

if you want something different you gotta go with the higher displacement engines like on the supra. You'll get more torque on a lightly modified supra than on a heavily modified civic. Then there's the torque steer issue.

suburu = garbage

I say go with an rx-7 and hook it up like crazy. I'm saying this because in the city I live in I've only seen one, vettes / cobras are a dime-a-dozen, same with the supra ever since the import explosion, i just think that makes the rx-7 that much cooler. I don't know the stats compared to the others, but thats just my opinion.

Also, what someone said about test driving: thats definitly a good idea, just because you may hear great things about cars, doesn't mean you personally would like them..

Being an N/A fan, I'd go with the S2000. The F20C represents the pinnacle of all-motor potential in a production car, not to mention the fact that S2000's are SO much fun to drive. With your budget, you could get a brand new one, or get a slightly older model and use the leftover money for mods. The corvette will be the fastest out of the box, but at least where I live, they're a dime a dozen. I agree, however, with the idea that the only way to truly get a feel for any car is to take a test drive.

Intersting choices. For shock value, I'd go with the lambo. For a reliable, unique exotic with affordable parts, however, I'd ultimately have to go with the NSX.

Of the cars you listed, I'd do the Supra.

I also like the NSX idea.

Or you could drop a C32 in the trunk of the Sol. Doesn't someone make a supercharger for that? But where would you store the roof...
