I just got a turbo on my civic type r engine running 24lbs of boost and raised my compression to 14:1 while I was at it. I haven't started the engine yet but it should be fast.

This is what I'm talking about. Why waste people's time with worthless posts and obvious lies? The existence of an engine that defies the ordinary (such as a prelude engine running at 38 psi) has to be proven with pictures and some kind of documentation. So many noobs lie about their shit on these forums that claims without proof are automatically going to be ignored.

You must live under a rock. You should read some magazines like sport compact car, super street, or import tuner. you can run like 34 pounds of boost on a supra with a stock bottom end. At a local drag strip A mustang with a t88 runs right at 40psi. The mustang and the supra both run at or above 1000hp

Well no shit what a concept, a car with 2 or 4 more cylinders can fit more compressed air into the engine! 40psi on a V8 pushes 20psi into each line of 4 cylinders, and 34psi on a V6 pushes 22-23psi into 4 cylinders and 11-12psi on the other two. 20 to 23 psi per 4 cylinders is normal for built engines. I know of a guy running 21psi on his Eclipse with pistons/rods/valves/springs on his street car.

Well no shit, maybe you should read his post more clearly! He Claims you cant run more than 28psi on any motor! He didn't specify displacement or # of cylinders did he?
