from what i've heard a chip alone won't give you nearly the gain in a honda/acura as it will in other cars... my friend has a 92 Z24 3.1l and he put a chip in.. got decent gains, more than I would in my civic if i added a chip

1. there's a lot of tuners out there who have the Mugen program by either getting the software on disk, or by gettin the Mugen chip and loading it onto disk themselves. they then upload the program onto a radio shack EEPROM (like any other chip) and there ya go... a Mugen programmed chip for cheap that truly works the same as what you get from Mugen. 2. make sure you have the correct vehicle weight plus driver input into the GTech meter for a proper calculation. also set it to level before starting. a lot of people i know used the vehicle curb weight instead of gross vehicle weight and got bad readings. so far i have yet to have a problem with a GTech meter in 3 different vehicles when properly used. |

yeah. the one i used has been off by .1 second at the most when compared to timeslips at the local track. as for speed, it's quite accurate. within 2-3mph on trap speeds. |
