also, you said it sits where the fog light "should"go, it doesnt replace the fog light when u install it right?just sist behind it?

On my Honda, (I don't know about 3000gt CAI), but they had bypass valves available for something like 30bucks that would prevent water getting into your intake, but I never saw a need for it, I think its just precautionary.
