Re: 300zx Fuel Filter?

lol, poor man, ill explain. i have the injen intake, it came in the car. but my filter is getting preeeety black, and i need a new one. not sure if i could get a different bigger, better, more flowing filter other than the injen one. so my question is, are all air filters pretty much the same. and if not, which ones are good, and which ones do i wanna stay away from

Re: 300zx Fuel Filter?

just get an adapter off ebay and buy a fipk cone filter from K&N. don't buy the whole kit or you'll get ripped off. all the kit is is an adapter and filter. plus they throw in a cleaner kit. It costs like $170. I thought it would be an extension but its not.

Re: 300zx Fuel Filter?

I bought one today for like 11 bucks. Installation would have went well but the hose on blttom would not come off. Twisting and pulling really hard both failed. Tried pliers dispite what 240sx.org said and the hose ripped. a quick cut and fix worked. Gas is going to go everywhere too. Read the write-up at www.240sx.org

G7404 is the correct fuel filter right? (fram)

and how do you get the fuel filter to fit in the car, would i need to purchase new metal clips or some form of holder.

could i use the stock ones safely or would be unwise to do so?

and lastly would i be able to just pull some stuff from a 300zx to fit these things in it?

everything fits like stock... just a bit tighter on the clamps is all. Hoses should come off without pliers since I got mine to come off (but it is a bitch).... just give it some time. Remember to pull AND twist
