lots of situps, running, and most of all don't drink beer and don't eat fatty foods.
lower your portions of fatty foods and raise your servings of fruits, vegetables, etc

Re: Help! BEER GUT!!!!

Drink lots and lots and lots of beer and hard liquor... you'll wind up puking out your meals you ate today plus all sorts of gross looking things you have no clue were in your body. Or maybe they just looked that way because I was too plowed to see straight.....

Re: Help! BEER GUT!!!!

hahaha a yo-yo affect.

Ever since me being dumped almost 2 weeks to the day, i've been riding a stationary bike at full speed for 3km, it's one that the handles move and it's crazy and it gives a workout on the legs and arms.
It's not much, but it works up a sweat, and it takes my mind off a lot of things, and sets my mind on drinking nice chilled water after the work out.

These things isn't overnight, it's like growing hair, it takes time, and alas, a lot of time.

Re: Help! BEER GUT!!!!

I toned down from a waist size of 34 to a 32 in about 3 months. All I did was ride my mountain bike everday, some setups, and got rid of all the junk food in the house. I ate a steady diet of salad, chicken, and fresh fruits. I know of no quick way to shed the beer gut though. I didn't have much of a beer gut to begin though, if you have one like a few ppl at work the kind where you can't see your feet when you look down then you need to check into a gym and get a personal trainer to design a diet and workout routine for you.

Re: Help! BEER GUT!!!!

hahha, that's not a beer gut then, it's a TANK on your belly. I have been exersing over a week now, but i didn't today, and i just ate a fair amount of chocolate (not a good thing)

This is the WORST time of year to start a diet, you're surrounded by chocolate!

Find a Horse barn and tell them you want to learn some stuff. Believe it or not mucking stalls is good exercise. Also if they do trail rides ask to learn to ride well enough to do them rides. I used to ride atleast 5 hours a day and my legs got stronger etc. I my arms got bigger too. And definitely get in on unloading the hay truck. It's the fastest way to get some muscles I know of. Oh stop drinking soda and eat healthier too will help. It will also make you have more energy(eating healthier). I have a real low sodium diet since my dad nearly died.

Re: Help! BEER GUT!!!!

Thats a debatable option. Why does everybody say stop drinking "soda" when it fits in official diest for cyclists? Even they have their good points and if you work hard enough they are needed.
